Holy cow, has it really been five months since I posted news on here?!?! Well, it's been a very busy five months both professionally and personally. I'm only telling you about the professional stuff, though.

Two awesome new projects to tell you about - Marvel Heroes: The Complete Avengers sketch cards and Lord of the Rings: Masterpieces sketch cards.

I'm working on a whole bunch of other stuff, but nothing to announce just yet. Soon.

Thanks fer stoppin' by!

Added a new short prose story titled "Choices." It was for a writing challenge with the theme of "Something you hope you never have to do," and had to be flash fiction, meaning under 1,000 words. It was definitely darker and more of a grown-up story than my kids work. You can get a PDF version, too. Or see more info in the Writing Gallery.

Also, added this Batman cinematic desktop wallpaper at 1024 x 768:

As usual, it was done in Photoshop 7 with my trusty Wacom tablet.

Off to bed I go. Thanks for stoppin' by!

Yippee!! My newest project (the one I've been hinting at) is Wizard of Oz sketch cards for Breygent and Warner Bros. And I'm psyched!

And one of the coolest parts of working on this project is that other Goats have joined me. Mark Winters, Joshua Ross, Brent Engstrom, and newest Goat, Renae De Liz, are all wizarding up a bunch of cards!

I'll keep updating the article at: http://OZ.GoldenGoatStudios.com

Happy nearly three months into the New Year, everyone! ;o)

My entire set of Lord of the Rings: Evolution sketch cards for TOPPS and New Line Cinema are online and ready to be looked at. Just visit http://LOTRsketchcards.com and scroll down to my name (about the 10th from the top). A few are missing from there, so you can also view all 34 sheets of cards here. That's 306 cards in all.

I had a blast working on these and kinda miss them now. I had to leave my digital methods behind and work on these with pencil, ink, markers, and opaque white. Definitely a different experience and I learned a lot.

Thanks for stopping by. Please let me know what you think so far. I'd love to here from some fellow Ringers (LOTR fans), because they're the ones I'm doing these for.

I've updated the layout to the site, obviously. Hopefully this is a little less overwhelming; instead of the information, galleries, and news all on one page. ;o) Still working on getting all of the content up though.
--
Added some new pages from "Nightwing: Fundamentals" in the Sequentials gallery.
--
New writing club short story exercise titled, "Hot and Cold," is up in the Short Stories gallery.
--
And, I think that's all for this time. Tell me what you think about the new look over on the message boards!
